Enlightenment

Enlightenment showcases the seven major chakras through Marie's unique and impressionistic style. It aims to ignite joy and personal empowerment, reminding you of your perfection and completeness. The vibrant colours from the root to the third eye chakra emphasise the importance of strong roots and a powerful foundation, allowing energy to flow with ease. A personal message from Marie: I was divinely guided to paint this depiction of the 7 major chakras when I was healing my own, due to a desire to live the enlightened being that I already am in truth.  The chakras are energy and need to be clear and bright to function healthily, and when they do, enlightenment happens.  Hence the clear and bright colours used and the name of the painting. 

You will see lots of movement in the artwork depicted by scrolls, rays, swirls, and symbolism of each chakra. 

The roots at the base chakra are grounded for stability and a deep connection to the Earth.

A gold chalice cup represents the pelvis that contains the sacral chakra.  It is the area for intuition, healthy fertility and supports the flow of all expressions of emotion.

The spiralling sun, representing the solar plexus chakra extends its pure light of empowerment downwards and upwards, encouraging presence and confidence.

A blossoming shape in the centre is the heart chakra where unconditional love flows outwards from its centre.  We are all connected to this infinite source of love.

Whisps of unconditional love flow through the throat chakra in the form of gentle white light and on a deeper layer of the painting rays of white light also move through this centre from the solar plexus chakra.  The white light encourages ease of honest, clear, truthful communication.

A third eye chakra is wide open.  The moon in the centre is emanating its mystical glow for insight, illumination and clairvoyance.  The scrolls on either side of the eye represent knowing beyond what the physical eyes can see.

The golden halo for the crown chakra signifies the gateway to the Divine that you are part of.  It is central and stable, in alignment with the chakras below.
